You can participate in our church service by letting us know your favourite sacred music and we can play it at some part of the service and include it in our list of recordings. Please send the details to Ernest Parker

On the first Sunday of each month there is a special service followed by communion.  All are welcome to participate.

"We are all looking forward to sharing our lives with the people of Portaferry. It is exciting as we look forward to the next step of this thrilling journey that we all take together with Jesus Christ. People mattered to Jesus and I want them to matter to me as well. My prayer is that during our time together we can discover the passionate love that God has for each one of us and to see our lives transformed by his amazing grace. (Nick McKnight - Minister of Glastry and Portaferry)

                     WORDS
Words are mysterious as the wind.
In cause and effect beyond our ken.
Words can create and words destroy,
Like artist's brush or vandal's pen.
Words know no limits of time or space -
A potent blend of sound and thought.
Whilst sounds themselves may be recalled,
Thoughts, like shooting stars,go on their way,
Creating new worlds of grief or joy.
